SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA-(7-12-2005) Entrants in the 2005 Rolex Trophy One Design Series will be available at a pre-race media conference on Friday 9 December 2005 – the day before the Series begins.

Brooke Paton from the Sydney 38 Zen and one of approximately 25 women racing to Hobart this year, will also be on the panel.  Both the boat and Brooke will be attempting their second Rolex Sydney Hobart this year.

About Rolex Trophy One Design Series:

Boats in the Farr 40 and Sydney 38 design classes compete to be the first yacht across the finish line in each race, accumulating points over the three days of racing.  The yacht with the lowest point score at the end of the Series is the winner.  The racing is fast and furious and every point counts, making it vital for crews to limit mistakes in each race
